Terms of Use
Last updated: August 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ChannelSat (channelsat.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Service Description
ChannelSat provides a free satellite TV transponder database and channel list optimization tools for 12+ TV brands including Samsung, LG, Sony, Panasonic, Philips, and Hisense. The satellite data is collected from publicly available sources and updated weekly. The optimization tool processes channel list files locally in your browser — no channel data is stored on our servers.
3. Use of the Service
You may use ChannelSat for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to: • Scrape, crawl, or systematically download data from the site • Redistribute the database content without permission • Use the service to interfere with or disrupt any systems • Attempt to reverse-engineer the optimization algorithms
4. Channel List Files
When you upload a channel list file for optimization, the file is processed in your browser. If you use the TV Bridge feature, the file is temporarily stored on the server for transfer purposes and automatically deleted after the session ends. ChannelSat does not access, analyze, or retain the contents of your channel list files beyond what is necessary for the service.
5. Data Accuracy
Satellite data (frequencies, channels, transponders) is provided as-is from public sources. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all information is current or error-free. Channel availability may vary by region and is subject to change by broadcasters without notice.
6. Limitation of Liability
ChannelSat is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages resulting from the use of the site or the optimization tool, including but not limited to data loss, TV configuration issues, or service interruptions.
7. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of ChannelSat after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
