Enigma2 channel list editor
Export the channel list from your Enigma2 TV to a USB stick, fix it in ChannelSat (order, duplicates, favourites, satellite data), and import it back — free and 100% in your browser.
Also covers: Dreambox · VU+ · Octagon · GigaBlue · OpenATV · OpenPLi
How to edit a Enigma2 channel list
1No USB stick or TV menu needed — you pull the settings off the receiver itself over the network.
2Copy /etc/enigma2/ from the receiver via FTP (or the web interface backup) — upload it as a .zip, .tar.gz or .rar
3Zip the /etc/enigma2 folder (lamedb + bouquets). ChannelSat also accepts .tar.gz and .rar, so an FTP or web-interface backup works as-is.
4Plug the stick into your computer and upload the file to ChannelSat — reorder, clean up, add missing channels
5Save the exported file back to the USB stick (replace the original) and import it on the TV: Copy the files back to /etc/enigma2/ and reload services (or restart Enigma2)
Menu names vary by model and firmware version.
Supported files
- /etc/enigma2/ (lamedb + bouquets.tv + bouquets.radio + userbouquet.*.tv)
What you can edit
- Reorder & renumber channels
- Favourite lists (not supported by this format)
- Delete channels
- Add missing channels (requires a new scan on this TV)
Good to know
- Userbouquets are your favourite/main lists — editing them is the whole point on Enigma2.
- An export with no edits comes back byte-identical; each bouquet keeps its original order, and markers, separators, IPTV/stream entries and duplicate references are all preserved.
- Settings can be uploaded as a .zip, .tar.gz/.tgz or .rar archive.
- lamedb version 4 is supported.
- lamedb version 5 without a v4 file is not supported.
